Why is processed and packaged in the USA important to the American consumer?
With almost 2,000 made in the U.S. frozen food companies to choose from, Americans are now paying extra attention to the “Processed and Packaged in the U.S.A” label. According to a recent survey by the Gallup Panel, 72 percent of Americans are paying more attention to the origin of products. Also products that contain the American-made label are considered better than those without labels.
When considering what kind of seafood to purchase, Sea Star Seafood’s Beacon Light product line is processed and packaged at their 40,000 sq ft state of the art GFSI certified facility.
